Randall S. Feingold, M.D.,
founder and managing partner of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, P.C., has practiced
in Great Neck, New York since 1994. Dr. Feingold is certified by the American
Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast
and body as well as state-of-the-art post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.
Dr. Feingold is renowned
for advanced techniques in microsurgery, and is one of a handful of
practitioners nationwide that specialize in DIEP, SIEA and GAP flap breast
reconstruction. He pioneered a minimally-invasive approach to the DIEP flap that
has been presented at national meetings and published in the Annals of Plastic
Surgery. Dr. Feingold also offers the full spectrum of implant-based
reconstruction including the one-step direct-to-implant approach and the
latissimus dorsi flap in suitable patients. He was a Principal Investigator in
the national Adjunct Study that resulted in FDA approval of the newest
generation of silicone gel-filled implants. For his leadership in this field,
Dr. Feingold was honored by the American Cancer Society with their 2007
Physician of Distinction Award.
Dr. Feingold is the medical director of
our AAAASF-certified state-of-the-art office surgical suite. He performs
innovative cosmetic procedures including short-scar and mini-facelifts,
transconjunctival blepharoplasty, open rhinoplasty, VASER ultrasonic liposuction
and silicone gel breast augmentation. Dr. Feingold utilizes injectable therapies
for nonsurgical rejuvenation including Botox Cosmetic, Restylane, Juvederm,
Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic. He coordinates patient care in consultation
with our Aesthetician to determine the best combination of treatment modalities
to maximize results and minimize downtime.
Dr. Feingold graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Albany Medical College of Union University, and completed residencies in Surgery at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center, and Plastic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. He holds an appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he is a member of the microsurgical limb replantation team. He has also been appointed Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the newly formed Hofstra Medical School. Dr. Feingold is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Feingold practices and teaches at North Shore University Hospital, LIJ, St. Francis and Winthrop, the leading medical centers in our community. He has held two terms as President of the Medical Staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he was the Chairman of the Credentials Committee. Dr. Feingold is a member of the Board of Directors of the NSUH at Manhasset Physician Organization, and was Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at NSUH in Forest Hills for ten years. He was instrumental in developing the microsurgical program at St. Francis Hospital, where he was the first plastic surgeon to perform a microsurgical breast reconstruction with the DIEP flap.
